By now the seat has all the mortises drilled and reamed. It is carved into a Windsor seat shape and ready to level off and finish. Before we level off and finish the seat the under carriage and legs need to be attached to the seat. There are a lot of details you will need to get either from taking a chair making class or getting the Chairmakers Notebook book. I am just giving you a flavor of chair making and just one method.
