After the arm had a chance to dry and solidify into its new shape we did a little more finishing and fairing of the curves. We did some finishing work to our spindles while the arm was drying. In the real world the arm should have had longer to dry but for this class time was limited so we let it dry for a limited time. Next we drilled and tapered the mortises for the arm posts, lined up the arm and drilled the mortises for the spindles.
