easy wood projects
In May I took a trip to Port Townsend Washington and took a couple of classes at the Port Townsend School of Woodworking. Port Townsend is a nice small town on the Puget Sound. The weather is that typical of the Pacific North West. It did rain but it did not rain all the time. The weather was nice and sunny much of the time. I also took a trip to the San Juan Islands by ferry. There is also the Wooden Boat School there and there are many wooden boats being built, repaired and sailed. I stayed at an old Victorian Hotel called the Water Street Hotel. It was historic and made of all wood. The wood it was made of showed its age. It took a while to get used too but eventually I was able to experience its rustic charm.
