This pretty much finishes up the tapered reamer. I drilled a hole in the top portion for the cross piece using a brace and bit. It drilled though the maple tapered reamer quickly. I started tapering the holes for the legs on my shavehorse.
Center drawn out and ready to drill.

Flip it over and finish drilling through the opposite side to get a clean hole.
All the way through.
I used a drumstick instead of a dowel to turn this tapered reamer.
